Spanish 1 MYP

Accelerated may or may not have had previous Spanish learning experience.  This may be a student's first exposure to the language, or he/she may have had some Spanish learning at the middle school level. In Spanish I, students learn greetings, farewells, colors, numbers, family, activities,  adjectives, clothing, classroom objects, time and food.  Gramatically, students learn how to write in the present and past tenses.  Culturally, students learn about Latinos in the United States and the countries of Mexico and Puerto Rico.
