Ms. Houdek

I have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and prior to teaching I worked in environmental consulting for 7 years in Illinois and Minnesota. The majority of my projects involved soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.  

I was awarded my Masters in Education in 2001. I began teaching at Central in 2002 and I have been glad for that decision ever since!I was honored to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching for Minnesota in 2015 by President Obama.

I teach Advanced Placement Environmental Science and Anatomy and Physiology. I am also Central's Science Department Co-Chair and the AP Registrar for our Advanced Placement Program.
