Central, Washington Earn Schools of Distinction Honor from Cognia

We are pleased to share that Central Senior High School and Washington Technology High School have been recognized for excellence in education as 2025 Schools of Distinction by Cognia, the global nonprofit school improvement organization that helps grow learners, teachers and leaders. During the 2024-25 school year, Cognia conducted approximately 1,110 accreditation engagement reviews. Of those, 35 institutions were recognized as Schools of Distinction globally, and two of the 35 are SPPS high schools.
