Attendance Process
Our goal is to have accurate attendance records and provide the best customer service to families and students.
Best and most efficient for all practice is
1. for non-emergency, same day – Send a paper note
• Because we have to provide a pass to your student and interact at that time.
2. Email to CentralHS@spps.org
• For past, future, or full day absences
• For attendance corrections and pre-planned extended absences
3. phone call to 651-744-4900
• If you need your student pulled early for pick up and did not send a note.
• Leave a message on our Attendance line, we will collect the messages during the day. Because the office is bustling with students & visitors, we are often unable to answer all calls real time.
Information we need:
• Your students first and last name
• Ideally, your student’s 6 digit ID number (used in Campus)
• And whether your student will be or was absent.
• Whether they are coming in late or need to leave early.
This will allow us to track and record attendance accurately. And it will allow the front office team to focus on the students and visitors coming into the office in real time.
