As the €rst semester ending with the success of the winter week raising over two-hundred dollars for Open Your Hearts. M-Team President Lalu Abebe explained how Student Council members have became more comfortable around their peers and have became more responsible of their duties. Abebe looks forward to more student body participation in school events, along with more commitment from the members.
Student Council’s biggest event of second semester is Sno-Daze, Feb. 20-Feb. 24, ending with the Sno-Daze Dance. This year’s Sno-Daze week is separated into four committees: Coronation, Dance, Pepfest, and Activities. The week will begin with the Activity Commit-tee sponsoring theme days such as “ Get Up And Go Day” or “ Dress Up Day” and much more. Then this is followed by Coronation held on Wednesday, Feb..22 with the nominations of royalty contestants beginning Feb2.
The Sno-Daze Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb, 25 at the Riverfront Raddison.
“ As M-Team, we’re doing our best to stay committed to the student body and members to stay involved,” said President Abebe.
