NHS Hosts
the Multicultural Festival May 26th

National Honor Society (NHS) is founded for four pilars:
Lead-ership, Character, Services, and Scholarships. It offers
tutoring and promotes community ser-vice.
“
I think NHS provides great opportunities for students who
are willing to serve in the community and school in a way
that is fun and encouraging,” said Samantha Fung, President
of NHS. Mem-bers of NHS meet once every month after school.
The Multicultural Festival will be held on Fri., May 26th
from 1 PM- 3 PM. An informational meeting was held on Wed.,
Jan. 18th for interested students. There will be the sign-up
meeting on Wed., Feb. 1st. Students will of-€cially sign
up their groups, and choose a country.
“
It’s going to be a lot of work but this year will be
better than ever,” said Brooke Ullery, one of the committee
heads for the Mul-ticultural Festival. The festival will
include performances, danc-ing, singing, food, and beverages
representing different countries. |
