190 Seniors go Snowtubing

 Adora Land Staff Writer
On Feb. 9th, Central’s senior class went snowtubing
at Eckobaken.
Snowtubing was the second senior event that the Senior
Class Council organized. The purpose of this field trip
was for
the Seniors to be
able to bond with one another. 190 seniors attended this
event, which
is about 45% of the class. “ Who ever didn’t
go really missed out
because it was a lot of fun,” said Senior, Nary
Lor.
In the last 15 minutes, all senior gathered at the
top of the hill,
connected tubes, and went down the hill as one class,
upholding a
long tradition at Eckobaken. “ Snowtubing totally
exceeded my expectations. I thought it was fun when the
whole class was at the
bottom of the hill throwing tubes up in the air,” said senior, Rachel
Frielander-Holm.
Snowtubing can be a dangerous but fun experience. Only one Senior got hurt
but he’s still standing. “ It was fun although I’m a little
sore,” said Morgan Larson.
The purpose of this field trip was fulfilled and was a
fun bonding
experience for the class of 2006. “ I had a great
time! I had a chance
to meet a lot more seniors and laugh at my peers,” said
Senior Council
member, Vance McCain.
