Hello!  My name is Lisa Houdek.  This site is designed to give you a little bit of information about who I am, how my classes function, and how best to contact me.   However, this site is still very much a work in progress and I will be adding to it over the course of the year...please be patient!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and prior to teaching I worked in environmental consulting for 7 years in Illinois and Minnesota.  The majority of my projects involved soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.  I went back to school and obtained my Masters in Education in 2001.  I began teaching at Central in 2002 and I have been glad for that decision ever since! 

I teach three sections of Advanced Placement Environmental Science and two sections of 9th grade Physical Science.  Follow the links to find subject-specific information about those courses.
