SL/HL IB chemistry is equivalent to first year university This course requires:
Time: Consistent preparation/study
Investigations: Planning of experiments required
Participation in Group Project; collaborative work
Writing practical work reports
New expectations, especially higher order cognitive skills
Adequate class hour; 150h for SL, 240 for HL
Adequate time for investigation (lab hours) 40h for SL, 60 h for HL
To enjoy the class and score 7, 6 or at least 5  in IB exam students have to work hard, and be very good in chemistry and math.
