I have a Master's degree in Chemistry from India, a Master's degree in Science education from the University of Minnesota and a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University. This will be my third year at Central! I have 2 daughters who are also interested in pursuing careers in science. My older daughter is a National Merit scholar, doing her first year of medical school at the U of M. She wants to be a neurosurgeon! My younger one is a 9th grader, interested in Aeronautics. In my free time, I love to pursue more artsy stuff like painting, knitting and crochet. This past summer, I have greatly enjoyed teaching “Chemistry of Art” and a "Crochet and hand embroidery" class to middle school students at Washington Technology Magnet school, where I was able to combine my various interests.
